Ali received his Bachelor of Biology with Honours from McGill University and a Master of Science in Medical Genetics from the University of British Columbia. Inspired by a visit to a physiotherapist for an injury, combined with his drive to work and help people, Ali obtained his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Ali has experience working with a variety of orthopaedic and neurological conditions, he is currently pursuing training in manual therapy from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.. Ali is a McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider, with training in the Mulligan Concept, the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), Myofascial Distraction Technique using cups, Craniosacral Therapy, NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) and Vestibular rehabilitation. Ali adheres to the philosophy of individualized care by incorporating hands-on techniques and active exercises, geared towards the patient’s individual needs and goals, to ultimately attain optimal quality of life and function.
Ali spends his spare time engaging in various hobbies ranging from active to creative. He is an avid baker, knitter, Star Wars fan, HIITer, Tai Chi-er, traveler and is learning to play the guitar.
