Kateryna Goncharova

Registered Physiotherapist

cropped-promo-physio-favicon.pngKateryna received her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Studies with Honours at York University, and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

Kateryna obtained her Certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) from the McKenzie institute, and has completed training in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI). She has taken a variety of post graduate courses, including the Mulligan Concept and TMJ Rehabilitation.

Kateryna believes in the value of a thorough biomechanical assessment to identify the cause behind her patient’s symptoms. Her assessment and treatment focus on proper joint alignment.

Kateryna takes special pride in her role as a supervising therapist for the Physiotherapy Assistant program at various colleges.  Her special interest lies in fitness and the promotion of active living at every age.

Kateryna has played recreational volleyball, for many years, and continues to stay active through circuit training and yoga.
