Leo received his Bachelor in Kinesiology from McMaster University in Hamilton, and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto.
Since graduating, Leo has taken numerous professional development courses, including training in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), the Mulligan Concept, soft tissue release, Basic Sport Physiotherapy Taping, Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation and TMJ Rehabilitation. He is a K-Taping Pro Therapist.
Leo believes in evidence based practice, which combines recent research into clinical practice. His treatment approach includes manual techniques, therapeutic modalities, rehabilitative exercises, taping, education and activity modification. His approach emphasizes the importance of patient oriented goals and self-care, allowing the patient to become physically stronger so they can live a more active lifestyle. His clinical interests include ankles, knees, vertigo, temporomandibular issues and postural alignment.
In his off time, Leo enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, photography, playing tennis and soccer and participating in different volunteer activities.
