Bonny received her Masters in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University and her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from McGill University.
She is the founder of Pro Motion Physiotherapy, a private clinic located in Thornhill, Ontario. A recognized expert in osteoporosis, Bonny teaches the Osteo-Circuit™ Method both nationally and internationally; and contributes her knowledge as a lecturer at McMaster University. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto.
Bonny believes strongly in equipping Physiotherapists to use research to treat people with osteoporosis. She is actively involved in research, including the FORTIFY study and has recently published her work in Osteoporosis International: The Role of Physical Performance Measures in the Physiotherapy Assessment and Management of Adults with Osteoporotic Vertebral Fractures. She has had the opportunity to provide webinars on osteoporosis and exercise for vertebral fractures for the Seniors Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Osteoporosis Canada.
Bonny recently presented her work (April 2026) in Prague at the World Congress of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases entitled: “From Fracture to Function: A Dynamic Physiotherapy Pathway for Vertebral Fracture Recovery.”
She is a passionate advocate for raising awareness about osteoporosis and empowering people of all ages to live bone-healthy lives.
